The project

City Plaza is a hotel in the heart of Athens. It was closed for 8 years. Since the borders closed in April last year City Plaza has been open again and is now home to 400 refugees from Syria, Afghanistan, Kurdistan, Iran, Iraq, Palestine & Pakistan.

For 9 months this 7 floor building has provided a safe and dignified alternative to the inhumane conditions of camps in Greece.

A Day in the Life at City Plaza will tell the story of the day to day life of the refugees living at City Plaza.

Every day for 2 weeks:
1 portrait
10 questions
1 detail of the day

This project will document day to day life at City Plaza as well as promote the essential crowdfunding campaign to keep City Plaza open: http://www.youcaring.com/keepcityplazaopen
